NYC School Construction Authority seeks an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the Information Technology Customer Service Center. This role requires strong cybersecurity, service desk, desktop support, and RPA expertise, plus proven staff and project oversight capabilities and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Twelve years of full-time experience, five years in an administrative or managerial capacity.
• Baccalaureate Degree in related field.
• Experience in operations, construction, management, administration, or related field with staff leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core IT services within a division by managing people and processes.
• Develop policies and procedures affecting operational/admin matters of the Authority.
• Serve as liaison between departments, DOE, government agencies and contractors.
• Member of the Operations Committee; develop strategies, policies and procedures.
• Plan, assign, direct, monitor, and evaluate staff performance.
• Prepare reports for policy development and organizational planning.
