Job summary

American business solutions inc is seeking a senior IT Infrastructure contractor in Mississippi to oversee daily IT operations, ensure system availability, and drive incident response and governance. You will coordinate with network and security teams, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to SOPs and reporting.

Required experience includes extensive enterprise IT operations, leadership, AWS expertise, and strong cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive IT operations and infrastructure experience.
• Strong leadership or management experience including supervision of technical teams.
• Proven AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Landing Zone).
• Solid networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, DNS, load balancing, wireless).
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily IT operations ensuring availability of enterprise systems.
• Triages and tracks service tickets for cloud, hosting, and network services.
• Coordinate with teams on DNS changes, firewall rules, and access management.
• Lead incident response for outages and perform RCA.
• Review Statements of Work and procurement documents.
• Contribute to SOPs for ITIM service areas.
• Prepare weekly status reports for IT leadership.
• Manage compliance documentation and NDA execution.
