Job summary

Atoms in San Francisco is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to sustain the Service Desk, AV systems, and security for a fast-growing hardware-software company. You will support executives, onboard new staff, and manage the SaaS stack (O365, Teams, Google Workspace, Jira/Confluence, Zoom, Slack).

You’ll thrive in a startup, show initiative, and bring 5+ years in IT services, networking, and security, blending hands-on work with clear communication to ensure events run smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Operations or Support experience.
• Experience with SaaS stacks and conference systems.
• Ability to work independently in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the Go-To for IT Support: respond to requests across workstation hardware, software, network, and conferencing systems.
• Own the Service Desk: manage tickets, calls, and emails within SLAs.
• Run High-Stakes AV: set up and support AV for conferences and executive events.
• Onboarding & Workstation Deployment: onboard new employees and configure hardware/software.
• Administer Modern Tech: manage licensing for O365, Teams, Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Slack.
• Secure the Environment: implement security measures, certificates, and compliance.
• Keep Systems Healthy: diagnose and maintain workstations, laptops, mobiles, printers.
• Build the Blueprint: document hardware issues and service desk resolutions.
