Job summary

Coast Guard Exchange is seeking an IT Network Specialist (Helpdesk/Cust Support) to deliver first-line IT support for CSC and Exchanges in Chesapeake, VA. You will manage workstations and servers, handle user issues, and ensure network/security configurations are properly maintained.

The role requires flexibility in hours, experience with Windows environments, and proficiency in AD and MS 365. This on-site position offers full-time hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Cert or Associate degree in CS/IT, or HS diploma with 2 years helpdesk and MS Office 365.
• Flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings.
• Experience with Windows servers/workstations, network gear, VPN, firewalls, and POS systems.
• Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
• Ability to lift 30 lb.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT Helpdesk support to end users via ticket system, phone, email, and walk-up.
• Deliver systems administration on workstations and servers.
• Install and test security configurations; monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software.
• Deliver excellent customer service with strong written and verbal communication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
