Job summary
Convergint is seeking a full-time IT Network Specialist to join our Centennial, CO team. You will contribute to engineering, configuration, and support of LAN/WAN and internet systems, focusing on access control, video management, and intrusion detection across complex projects.
You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, perform system upgrades, and ensure availability and performance of ESS solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Experience: 5–7 years of computer and network systems installation and maintenance.
- Preferred Experience: in electronic/security/building automation; certifications with major Access Control, Video Management, Mass Notification, Intrusion Detection systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up and check-out of installed projects.
- Serve as the technical support contact for customer and maximize satisfaction with Fire, Security and Building Automation Systems.
- Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN/Internet systems or segments of a network.
- Maintain network hardware and software; monitor network availability across projects.
- Conduct system upgrades, audits, and database management for ESS.
