Job summary

Entergy Corporation in Louisiana and neighboring states seeks an IT Consultant to stabilize and secure our network infrastructure. You will design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networks, with emphasis on monitoring, automation, and incident response.

Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for critical energy operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and network mgmt tools.
• Experience with routers/switches and routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
• Familiarity with NERC CIP, SDN/ACI, Aruba wireless, VMware is a plus.
• Certs: CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve complex network issues through detailed packet capture and analysis.
• Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure network products and services.
