Entergy is seeking an IT Specialist I, II, Sr. – IT Consultant for the River Bend Nuclear Station in St. Francisville, LA.

The role covers cybersecurity, systems and infrastructure, vendor coordination, and project support within the Operational Information Technology team. Onsite responsibilities demand readiness for on‑call rotations and proximity to the plant. The position has multiple seniority levels with expanding requirements: from IT Specialist I (0–2 years) to IT Consultant (6+ years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or cyber security.
• 2–4 years installing and repairing computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• DCS/SCADA experience preferred; SIEM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware, software, databases, networks, inventories, and vendor support agreements.
• Troubleshoot legacy and modern computer systems, networks, interfaces, and security controls.
• Plan and execute upgrades, updates, database changes, and lifecycle improvements.
• Develop scripts, interfaces, reports, and client tools to meet operational needs.
• Review engineering changes and support cross‑functional troubleshooting.
