Job summary

Verterra Development seeks an IT Move Technician III to lead small to mid-size IT moves, disconnecting and reconnecting workstation PCs, peripherals, and server components. The role includes daily help-desk support, device upgrades, and mentoring junior technicians, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Reporting to Operations/Transportation leads, you will ensure safe, efficient moves and accurate labeling while maintaining high customer service standards and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; additional technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience or training in IT support/moving roles.
• Experience handling computer equipment and fragile devices with attention to detail.
• Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record per company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size IT move projects installing/disconnecting PCs and peripherals as directed.
• Provide daily IT support and troubleshoot issues for ROI accounts or projects.
• Assist with moving duties including lifting and transporting equipment as required.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on roles and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and customers to ensure quality moves and minimal disruption.
