Job summary

Entegro in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks an enthusiastic engineer to support a major real estate and network relocation project on site. You will assist senior network engineers with design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of telecom layers including DWDM, SDH, IP and data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities include using bespoke inventory systems for data analysis, hands-on work with routers/switches, and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or MSc in Engineering is required.
• Knowledge of telecommunication principles is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with telecom equipment (routers, switches, etc.) is valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• IP principles and networks experience is desirable.
• Advanced Excel or Access skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support a major real estate and network relocation project, on site in Nashville, Tennessee.
• Assist Senior Network Engineers in design, planning, integration, migration and decommissioning of layers: Outside Plant & Fibre, Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, etc., DWDM, SDH, IP, DCN, Critical Infrastructure (Space, Power, Cooling).
• Utilise bespoke inventory systems and apply a methodical and logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.
• Possibility to travel.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
