Job summary

Verterra Development seeks an IT Move Technician IV to lead complex relocation projects, disconnect/reconnect PCs and servers, and provide daily IT support at ROI accounts or projects. You may train junior techs, upgrade drives/memory, and ensure precise asset labeling and inventory control at client sites across California.

Role requires strong hardware/software knowledge, safety awareness, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree or technical trade school, or 1–2 years related experience or training.
3–6 years in a tech support role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, cabling, servers and applications.
Good understanding of server equipment; knowledge of racking/unracking.
Exceptional client/customer service skills and confidentiality.
If also a driver, California driver’s license required.
Valid driving record per insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead small to large IT move projects as assigned.
Disconnect and reconnect PCs and peripherals per supervisor guidance.
Provide daily IT troubleshooting for moves and help-desk tasks.
Mentor and train junior technicians; ensure asset labeling and inventory control.
Assist in moving duties including lifting and loading as needed.
