Job summary

Forward Systems – Managed IT in Alpharetta, GA seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations on-site. You will oversee network/server administration, endpoint management, and support for business-critical applications, while planning IT projects and managing vendors.

You will drive service quality in a multi-client MSP setting, champion cybersecurity best practices, and contribute to IT strategy and budgeting to support small and midsize businesses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, including 3+ years leading technical teams
• Experience running a service desk to SLAs in a multi-client, ticket-driven environment
• Hands-on with M365, Entra ID, Windows Server, Intune, networking, Google Workspace, backup/DR
• Familiar with MSP tooling: PSA, RMM, security stacks
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals and familiarity with CIS/NIST frameworks
• IT operations and service management experience: incident handling, change management, vendor coordination
• Comfort with service metrics and financial aspects of managed services
• Able to clearly explain risk to non-technical executives
