Job summary

STN Incorporated is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Systems, Network and MSP Service Desk Operations in a onsite Pleasanton, CA setting. You will manage a distributed team, drive incident lifecycle, and ensure security posture for internal and managed-service customers.

You will oversee Windows/Linux admin, AD/Entra ID, M365, cloud IaaS, and network operations while partnering with Engineering, Security, PMO, and Customer Success to ensure readiness and service quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT support, managed services, or technical operations.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• 5+ years hands-on system administration (Windows/Linux, AD, Entra ID, Microsoft 365).
• 3+ years hands-on network administration (routing, switching, VLANs, wireless, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with SLA management, KPIs, and 24/7/extended-hours operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service Desk, NOC, and SOC operations across shifts and geographies.
• Own SLA attainment, ticket hygiene, backlog control, and escalation management.
• Develop KPI framework and operational scorecards for performance.
• Oversee Windows/Linux servers, AD, Entra ID, M365, virtualization, and cloud IaaS.
• Manage patching, backups, disaster-recovery, and config standards.
• Oversee network infrastructure including firewall, VPN, routing, switching.
