Job summary

The IT Manager is based on site at Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, AZ, and leads the technology infrastructure supporting daily operations and event execution. You will oversee IT systems, network support, software applications, reporting, and end-user training for venue staff, coordinating with Legends Global IT teams.

This role requires proactive, service-oriented technicians who translate business needs into technical solutions, improve efficiency, and enable superior event experiences.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Computer Sciences required.
• At least 2 years of IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of business office applications and systems.
• Knowledge of report writing applications, including Crystal Reports.
• Must have communication skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to translate non-technical needs into technical development capabilities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of wireless technology applications and interface availability.
• Working knowledge of Palm OS, Windows CE, and Blackberry capabilities and support.
• Proficiency in Windows XP support.
• Proficiency in Novell network and Windows NT support.
• Extreme proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support IT application needs for all staff.
• Develop protocols for staff technology usage.
• Liaise with IT Department regarding network issues.
• Collaborate with Legends Global IT on corporate applications.
• Create and write reports for business analysis.
• Assist in marketing and presentation technology projects.
• Provide training and support for Microsoft Office usage.
• Identify and implement software to boost productivity.
• Identify and implement hardware opportunities to boost productivity.
• Troubleshoot application and network problems.
• All other duties as assigned.
