Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Building Technician located at Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, AZ. This hands-on role maintains HVAC, electrical, plumbing and lighting systems, supports event setup and ensures a safe, event-ready environment for conferences, concerts, and community events.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in facility maintenance, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced venue setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
  • 1–3 years hands-on facility maintenance experience.
  • Experience in a venue, arena, or stadium environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting throughout the venue.
  • Support event operations by ensuring all facility spaces, equipment, and utilities are fully functional and event-ready.
  • Respond to work orders and maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and document repairs.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and operational needs for events, including equipment moves and facility adjustments.
  • Monitor building safety, report hazards, and ensure compliance with facility standards, codes, and preventive maintenance schedules.
