Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership of IT teams.
• Hands-on systems troubleshooting and physical hardware management (PCs, switches, firewalls).
• Experience in IT project management, budgeting, and vendor purchasing for IT projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtual Machines, Windows OS, and networking concepts.
• Experience with ERP systems (required); Sage X3 preferred.
• Cybersecurity management including CMMC compliance; familiarity with ITAR, HIPAA, or FINRA preferred.
• Hands-on physical network cabling experience preferred (cabling, ports).
• Relevant certifications preferred (A+, Network+, Security+, Windows Server, Cisco, ITIL, PMP, CAPM).

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT infrastructure team, overseeing plant-floor and office IT infrastructure, and hardware to minimize downtime.
• Act as lead Project Manager for IT initiatives, prioritizing projects with cost/benefit analyses and managing vendor procurement/RFPs.
• Maintain deep knowledge of business processes to align IT solutions with strategic goals, including ERP systems (Sage X3).
• Execute cybersecurity concepts and ensure full compliance with corporate, client, and regulatory standards (CMMC, ITAR).
• Serve as IT advisor in operational meetings, managing third-party vendor relationships and technology recommendations.
