Job summary
On-Demand Group is seeking a Senior IT Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations and provide strategic direction across infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP‑related initiatives, and enterprise applications. This hands‑on leadership role operates in a lean IT team supporting a 24/7/365 dairy manufacturing operation.
You will partner with operations, engineering, QA, HR, and finance to align systems with business needs, manage vendors, and lead a small team while ensuring uptime and security across
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong hands‑on background in infrastructure and cybersecurity (networks, servers, sysadmin)
- ERP and enterprise applications experience in manufacturing/plant environments preferred
- Experience overseeing software development or system integrations
- Excellent communication and ability to partner with non‑technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead IT & IS operations across network, servers, cloud services, Wi‑Fi, storage, virtualization, and end‑user support
- Strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture (firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, remediation) and disaster recovery planning
- Oversee help desk operations, ticketing, and escalation processes, providing hands‑on support as needed
- Manage ERP and enterprise applications (HRIS, maintenance, QA, procurement, reporting) and support ERP upgrade readiness
- Partner with operations, engineering, quality, HR, and finance to align systems with business needs and coordinate downtime and changes
