Job summary

Nextracker is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Manufacturing IT to lead the site IT strategy in Mesa, AZ from commissioning through steady-state operations. You will partner with Plant leadership to align IT with manufacturing priorities, drive operational excellence, and ensure reliable, secure IT systems on the production floor.

Responsibilities include leading data integration, building dashboards, and coordinating with ERP, End User Services, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT roles within a manufacturing environment, with at least one full MES implementation owned end-to-end.
• Deep understanding and experience with an ERP environment preferably with Oracle Fusion.
• Strong experience with data architecture and implementation of high volume, high velocity data integration with a backend data lake preferably in a Microsoft Fabric environment.
• Experience with Visualization tools like Power BI.
• Background in site infrastructure to support a manufacturing site.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong vendor management and project execution skills.
• Strongly Preferred Experience in discrete electronics or power electronics assembly MES systems and related data infrastructure.
• Experience with developing/supporting systems to support serialized traceability and component-level genealogy in a regulated or warranty-sensitive product.
• Familiarity with test data systems (HiPot, functional test, burn-in) and binding test results to unit serials.

Responsibilities

• Own data integration strategy and target architecture between MES and enterprise data platform, delivering near-real-time visibility into production, quality, and traceability.
• Deliver manufacturing dashboards and control towers for end-to-end visibility across build-to-ship processes.
• Lead integration between manufacturing systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and downstream platforms.
• Define and execute manufacturing data strategy including work order routing, station definitions, and product genealogy.
• Lead IT workstream for site implementation and ramp-up from design through go-live and hypercare.
• Design, deploy, and support the site's IT and OT infrastructure, including network segmentation and secure connectivity.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including help desk, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and ERP teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement.
