Job summary

Cronin, a growing Connecticut advertising and marketing agency, seeks an IT Manager to serve as the internal technology authority. You will own Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, oversee the SaaS portfolio, and act as the primary liaison with our MSP.

Expect on‑site support, process improvements, and strategic tech planning to keep the agency running efficiently. You will lead initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and ensure documentation stays current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5+ years in IT with 2+ years in lead/coordinator role.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune; certs a plus.
• Experience managing vendor and MSP relationships, including contract review and escalation.
• Experience auditing multi‑platform SaaS environments and renewals.
• Solid cybersecurity, endpoint management, and device lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience creating IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases.
• Strong project management with the ability to prioritize and deliver outcomes.
• Excellent communicator who can explain tech to non‑tech staff.
• High integrity with confidentiality as a core value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal technology authority; own and manage Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
• Oversee SaaS portfolio, conduct audits, and optimize license usage.
• Act as liaison with MSP; manage statements of work and performance reviews.
• Lead technology initiatives (Intune/MAM, BYOD policy, cybersecurity improvements).
• Provide on‑site support for devices, printers, and workplace tech.
• Document IT processes; maintain SOPs and knowledge bases.
• Partner with departments to identify inefficiencies and deliver tech solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and contract terms.
