Job summary

CyberTrust Massachusetts is seeking a mid-level IT Support & Security Specialist to own the day-to-day technology operations and security posture of the organization. You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and the Windows laptop fleet, blending hands-on support with security configuration across end-user devices.

You will drive improvements to systems and processes, including quarterly intern onboarding/offboarding, device lifecycle management, and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT security.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows device management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, hardware, and common business applications.
• Practical understanding of IT security fundamentals: MFA, conditional access, endpoint protection, patch management.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort supporting non-technical staff and interns.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage recurring, cyclical processes (onboarding/offboarding).

Responsibilities

• Administer and harden the Microsoft 365 tenant and security features.
• Manage Windows laptop fleet using Microsoft Intune, including enrollment and policies.
• Provide hands-on and remote IT support for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding of staff and interns with account provisioning and access setup.
• Maintain IT process documentation and troubleshooting runbooks.
• Ensure endpoints meet security compliance before deployment.
