Job summary

Gotham Technology Group seeks a senior, hands-on IT professional who acts as the most senior practitioner outside the Head of IT. This role requires independent decision-making, strong security awareness, and the ability to support a fast-moving executive team.

You will own the day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Intune, manage Entra ID and MFA, and mentor two junior IT staff while collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure reliable, secure operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior-level, hands-on enterprise IT experience.
• Deep fluency with the Microsoft stack (M365, Azure, Windows Intune).
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD) including MFA administration.
• Executive-facing presence and calm, polished communication with senior leaders.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and apply security policy first.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration of the Microsoft stack with hands-on handling.
• Directly manage Entra ID (Azure AD) and MFA consolidation.
• Mentor two IT staff informally, focusing on Intune skills.
• Provide white-glove, desk-to-desk support to the executive team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues from start to finish.
• Handle escalations without unnecessary ticket-routing.
• Collaborate with executive team and Head of IT on strategic decisions.
