Job summary

OWA is seeking an IT department supervisor to interview and train staff, manage IT projects, and implement processes across the IT systems and department. The role emphasizes security of systems, business continuity, and cost-efficient IT operations within the organization.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of leadership support in IT, strong communication, organizational skills, and willingness to work non-standard hours. PMP or CompTIA Project+ certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
• One year of experience assisting leadership of an IT department in a professional role.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, or enrolled in GED program within six months.
• Must be twenty-one years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Interview potential employees.
• Train new employees.
• Manage department projects to ensure requirements and timelines are met.
• Assist with development and implementation processes for OWA's IT systems and department.
• Test and maintain business continuity protocols to minimize disruption during emergencies or data loss.
• Provide input on and implement efficiency and efficacy standards for IT infrastructure.
• Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess costs, productivity, upgrades and needs.
• Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Provide outstanding guest and team member service while assisting guests, vendors, and associates with IT issues.
• Maintain confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
• Provide timely reports, logs, and forms as required by Management.
• Ensure workplace safety through training and adherence to policies.
• Assist in protecting and safeguarding all company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
