Job summary

Weichai America Corp. in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead daily IT operations, support employees, and coordinate cybersecurity activities. This hands-on role requires managing systems, projects, and external providers to sustain business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least five years of IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Windows desktops, Active Directory, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune, Defender, networking, and access-management tools.
• Experience supporting hardware, software, networks, and end users.
• Experience with business analysis and system evaluation/implementation.
• Cybersecurity knowledge and experience.
• Experience managing external IT consultants or vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting, project-management, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for devices, networks, and business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, Intune, Defender.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, accounts, licenses, and equipment.
• Coordinate system maintenance, backups, updates, security patches, and replacements.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with departments to understand business processes and system requirements.
• Evaluate ERP, inventory, CRM, HR/payroll, and other business systems; prepare business cases and budgets.
• Lead or coordinate system implementation projects and data migration.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers on IT initiatives.
• Coordinate cybersecurity awareness and training; review security risks.
