Mid States Concrete Industries is hiring an IT Manager to oversee technology operations across five locations, leading Help Desk, Systems Administration, and IT Security. You’ll manage budgets, vendors, and projects while ensuring reliable, secure IT services for all employees.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• MCSD or other technical IT certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, data protection.
• Experience managing VMware virtualized environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco and Ubiquiti UniFi networks, firewalls, VPNs.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Strong leadership, policy development, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations across five locations.
• Establish and maintain consistent IT standards, processes, and procedures.
• Prioritize IT projects, service requests, and tech initiatives based on business needs.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, licenses, and contracts.
• Develop and manage the IT budget and monitor tech expenses.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Oversee Help Desk & user support with service standards and ticket management.
• Monitor and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Coordinate system upgrades, deployments, and project execution.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
