Job summary

Weichai America Corp. in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking a hands-on IT Manager. You will oversee daily IT operations, coordinate cybersecurity, and drive business-system implementations to support a growing North American organization.

The role requires a strong background in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, and security tooling, with leadership to manage external IT consultants and internal teams. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• At least five years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Group Policy, Intune, Defender, networking, and access-management tools.
• Experience supporting hardware, software, networks, and end users.
• Experience with business analysis and system evaluation/implementation.
• Experience managing external IT consultants/vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting, project-management, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for devices, networks, and business apps.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite and related services.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, accounts, licenses, and IT equipment.
• Coordinate system maintenance, updates, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain IT documentation and asset inventories.
• Understand business processes and system requirements with departments.
• Evaluate ERP/accounting/inventory/CRM/HR/payroll systems and lead implementations.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities and incident response.
