Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking an experienced IT Manager to build and run the IT function for a growing healthcare tech platform. You will own employee support, onboarding, device management, and on-site/off-site operations while coordinating with security for SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.

This hands-on role requires you to establish processes, manage vendors, and scale IT as we open NYC and expand remote teams. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT support or IT operations, ideally as the go-to IT person in a professional office.
• Experience in small to mid-sized, fast-growing companies with multiple offices.
• Hands-on support for macOS and Windows; administering Google Workspace and Slack; AV setup experience.
• Experience managing IT vendors and hardware purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Own Employee Support & the Help Desk: lead IT help for onsite and remote staff; manage FreshService and self-serve knowledge.
• Run Onboarding, Offboarding & Access: manage Rippling accounts and access, coordinate with People Ops.
• Manage Devices & Assets: procure and provision laptops/monitors; move toward remote provisioning; track inventory.
• Keep Offices & Conference Rooms Running: own conference room tech across NY/LA; support Zoom/Google Meet; maintain network/WiFi.
• Administer SaaS Tools & Vendors: manage Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, Microsoft 365, Asana, Linear, GitHub; oversee licenses and vendor performance.
