Stable10 are supporting an established, multi-site organization with the appointment of an experienced IT Manager.

Working closely with senior IT leadership, you will oversee day-to-day technology operations while helping improve the structure, performance and scalability of the IT function. This is a hands-on leadership role combining team management, infrastructure oversight, cybersecurity, service delivery and technology projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and develop the internal IT team
• Oversee infrastructure, business systems, network security, backups and end-user support
• Manage the IT help desk and maintain high service standards
• Establish clear processes, performance metrics and operational KPIs
• Lead system upgrades, migrations and wider technology initiatives
• Maintain appropriate IT security policies, controls and procedures
• Manage third-party vendors, contracts and service providers
• Support IT budgeting, forecasting and cost management
• Provide clear reporting on operational performance and project delivery
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to prioritise technology requirements

What we are looking for:

• At least five years of relevant IT experience, including responsibility for managing and developing teams
• Broad knowledge of IT operations, infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities
• Strong vendor, budget and contract management experience
• A structured approach to service delivery, accountability and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders
• A degree is preferred, although equivalent practical experience will be considered

This is a 6-12-month fixed-term contract, with the intention of becoming a permanent position thereafter. Occasional travel will be required.
