Job summary

The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg is seeking a Moves, Adds, Changes Coordinator to serve as IT consultant for MAC requests, assess cabling and equipment needs, and coordinate with vendors for cost estimates.

You will manage MAC work through completion, collaborate with iTech Administration and campus departments, and ensure technology specifications meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and a minimum of three years of related experience.
• Related experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT consultant to determine networking/telephony MAC requirements.
• Assess cabling, parts, equipment, and estimate total costs.
• Coordinate MAC projects with departments and vendors through completion.
• Schedule installations with customers and contractors.
• Locate and manage cable paths for copper and fiber.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
