Job summary

WSP is seeking a Specialist for IT M&A People Integration and Workforce Planning to own the people dimension of IT integration across active deals. You will build and maintain workforce baselines, segment the IT workforce, and quantify synergies while coordinating with HR Partners, IT Leads, and acquired-entity leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience quantifying and tracking workforce cost and synergy.
• Advanced Excel and data-handling skills; reconcile datasets.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the IT workforce baseline for each deal with population, profiles, roles, locations, and labour cost.
• Segment workforce by placement, map to IT function taxonomy, and validate with IT Function Leads.
• Reconcile baseline to HR records and explain movements (joins, leaves, transfers).
• Maintain baseline as the single source feeding people-cost handover, budget inputs, capacity planning, and synergy reporting.
• Translate baseline and integration schedule into capacity views for active deals.
• Own intake protocol for capacity requests and validate against budgets.
• Model transitions of roles into WSP function organizations and timing.
• Apply cost-type attribution to capacity lines to avoid untagged budget items.
• Identify capacity constraints and dependencies for integration.
• Align people availability with integration waves and knowledge transfer with senior leadership.
