Job summary

Prudential Lighting & PLP SoCal is seeking an IT Manager in Los Angeles, on-site. The role oversees the IT strategy, security, and day-to-day operations, aligning technology with business needs.

You will lead vendor relationships and coordinate with an external IT consulting firm while staying hands-on as required. You will manage Microsoft 365, security controls, backups, and incident response, ensuring a reliable, scalable IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Own IT planning, budget recommendations, policies, documentation, vendor relationships, and technology projects.
• Administer Microsoft 365, identity and access, cloud applications, licenses, endpoints, networks, Wi-Fi, phones, and meeting-room technology.
• Provide responsive employee support and manage the full IT portion of onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
• Lead cybersecurity controls, patching, endpoint protection, MFA, backups, incident response, recovery testing, and security training.
• Set priorities for the IT consulting firm, coordinate escalations, and evaluate its performance.
• Manage device purchasing, deployment, inventory, replacement, and secure disposal.
• Partner with leaders to improve workflows, evaluate software and automation, and reduce avoidable cost and risk.
