Job summary

Frontline — Worry-Free IT in Burbank, CA is seeking a seasoned systems and network engineer for a full-time, on-site role with regular travel across LA County.

You’ll lead client infrastructure projects end-to-end—from scoping with our vCIO team to hands-on execution and post-migration support, serving as an L3 escalation point for our service desk and ensuring reliable operations. The role requires strong communication and a track record of migrations, upgrades, and complex network refreshes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems or network engineering, with multi-client MSP experience.
• Led infrastructure projects end-to-end from plan to completion.
• Deep hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online and SharePoint migrations, Intune/Autopilot, Conditional Access, Entra ID.
• Comfortable supporting macOS alongside Windows.
• Firewall and switching config: Fortinet preferred; Meraki/Ubiquiti/SonicWall.
• Valid California driver’s license and travel across LA County for on-site work.
• Evening or weekend maintenance windows may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client infrastructure projects end to end, scoping with vCIO and building project plans.
• Execute technical work hands-on and communicate with the client from kickoff through sign-off.
• Serve as an L3 escalation point for the service desk and help run down monitoring alerts.
