Job summary

Gap Forwarding seeks an IT Lead to be the first point of contact for peripheral connectivity issues and to support business applications securely. The role requires strong communication, project and time management, and hands-on expertise across Windows/Linux, scripting, and networking.

You will oversee patch management, system backups, VOIP endpoints, SQL databases, and enterprise applications, coordinating with developers and supporting end-users across sites, including travel to Jamaica when

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of Windows environments (2012-2019) and Windows 10.
• Experience with Linux distributions.
• Working knowledge of VMWare/Hyper-V.
• Scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Network fundamentals: Cisco switches/firewalls and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and support all aspects of Network Systems.
• Patch management (Windows, Linux, VMware servers, workstations, appliances).
• Manage user profiles, security, queues, remote printing, job queues.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Analyze data security and implement corrective actions.
• Support change management, backups, DR, and connectivity.
