Job summary

Sellers & Associates, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and maintain security for users. Lead IT projects, deployments, and migrations, and configure networking.

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and networking is required, with a focus on onboarding, monitoring, and patch management in production environments.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ Certification required.
• Experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Cisco CLI.
• Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and SNMP.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware and software infrastructure issues across servers, network, and security.
• Onboard new hires and ensure functioning computers per company policy.
• Install, upgrade, configure, test, maintain and support OS and applications in production.
• Maintain configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
• Perform daily system monitoring and backups; verify system integrity and scheduled tasks.
• Manage local/remote networks (Cisco switches, Ubiquiti routers, Aruba APs, Blade servers/VMs).
• Design and maintain Intune & Azure AD Group Policy Settings.
• Analyze, troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues across users, servers, storage, and network connectivity.
• Inventory management with asset tagging and auditing.
• Review logs and investigate anomalies; apply security patches.
• Review system and security logs; monitor and schedule tasks.

Systems Administrator

Sellers & Associates is seeking a Systems Administratorto provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users. Lead and complete a diverse set of IT projects (software deployments, system migrations, updates, networking configurations). Exhibit a track record of solid IT systems knowledge by with hardware, software, network printers, VOIP phone systems and other network technology.

Experience Level:MID

Travel: 0 – 10%

Clearance: Able to obtain

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Participate in onboarding of new hires through electronic presentation; ensure that new hires have functioning computers and are aware of how to use according to company policies and guidelines
• Install, upgrade, configure, test, maintain and support operating system software and associated applications in a production environment.
• Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Local/Remote Network Management and configuration (Cisco switches, Ubiquiti routers, Aruba IAP’s, Blade servers/VM’s)
• Design, implement and maintain Intune & Azure Active Directory Group Policy Settings to manage users, servers, and workstations
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, and storage and network connectivity.
• Inventory Management with the use of asset tagging and auditing
• Review system and security logs and investigate anomalies.

Requirements:

• CompTIA Security + Certification
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
• Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
• Experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Networking to include Cisco CLI usage
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and SNMP monitoring
• Strong technical, analytical, and trouble-shooting skills with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical end-users
