Job summary

Aramark in Tempe, AZ is seeking an IT Support Worker Lead to assist management with administrative tasks and to interact with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner.

The role covers day-to-day IT operations, POS systems, hardware and network troubleshooting, and coordinating with ASU’s Micros and related systems; occasional after-hours support may be required. Strong customer service in hospitality is valued.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in IT support or business systems analysis, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment
• Background in hospitality, food service, or retail technology environments
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware components including laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, and POS peripherals
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP configuration, DHCP, DNS) and wireless troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT operations, including POS management, hardware and network troubleshooting, and technology support
• Maintain an organized approach
• Manage senior team and management level IT needs
• Micros Simphony System Liaison – ASU POS: hardware troubleshooting and installation; software programming; report gathering and distribution
• Catapult System Manager – Aramark Markets POS: hardware familiarization and basic troubleshooting; software programming; report distribution; liaison with Corporate IT
