Job summary

Avante Health, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Manager to own internal IT, managing devices, identities, and lifecycle across a growing organization. You will lead Seattle HQ tech buildout, vendor relationships, and a scalable support operation while improving automation and security.

You will work on-site in Seattle and partner with People, security, and GRC teams to ensure reliable IT services and compliant operations. This role reports to the CTO and acts as the sole IT hire.

Qualifications

• Seven years of internal IT experience, with ability to own the function independently.
• Strong hands-on skills with macOS, device management, provisioning, troubleshooting, and joiner/m mover/leaver lifecycle.
• Experience administering Google Workspace or similar SaaS, with SSO and MFA understanding.
• Comfort solving office setup challenges (AV, networking, connectivity) and coordinating external vendors when needed.
• Service mindset with clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to balance interruptions with longer projects, document builds, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Availability to work on-site in Seattle and take hands-on responsibility for employee devices.

Responsibilities

• Own the employee technology lifecycle and improve automation for devices and access.
• Run the device fleet: hardware standards, inventory, enrollment, updates, repairs, and procurement.
• Administer identity and workplace systems: accounts, licenses, access, and permissions; enhance SSO/MFA.
• Lead the headquarters tech buildout: AV, networking, Wi‑Fi, and server equipment; vendor coordination.
• Build a scalable support operation with self-service docs and automation.
• Strengthen endpoint security with security partners and coordinate with SecOps.
