Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT Internship in West Allis, WI to support HRIS and IT operations. The role offers hands-on exposure to IT configuration, implementation and user support during the May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027 internship window.

Interns will work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site. Applicants should be enrolled as a junior or senior and possess strong communication, teamwork and Excel skills. This is a benefits-eligible internship with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Demonstrates integrity, maturity and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT team in maintenance of hardware, software and systems.
• Support IT and HRIS stakeholders with configurations and solutions.
• Assist with data integrity checks and basic data analysis.
• Help troubleshoot basic IT issues and provide user support.
• Participate in projects related to desktop, server, or application deployments.
