Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a Manager IT Internal Audit to lead risk-based IT audits, advise on technology governance, and drive innovative audit methodologies. You will supervise staff, coordinate projects, and ensure independence and objectivity while addressing external audit inquiries.

The role requires a strong background in IT controls, risk assessment, and frameworks, plus travel ability to support enterprise-wide initiatives. A CISA is required; CIA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years with a Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and supervisory experience.
• CISA is required to qualify for this role.
• Knowledge of ITGCs, governance, cybersecurity and ERP risk is essential.
• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage completion of risk-based audits and provide IT risk expertise.
• Supervise and coach staff; lead projects and investigations.
• Advance audit methodologies using AI, data analytics, and automation.
• Report on open audit issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Respond to external auditors and maintain independence.
