Delta Dental of California is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits and provide technology risk expertise. The role guides staff, conducts advisory work, and drives innovative audit methods using AI and analytics.

You will coordinate with management on corrective actions and respond to external auditors, traveling as needed. The position requires strong knowledge of ITGCs, cybersecurity, governance, and ERP risk, with CISA mandatory and CIA preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a Bachelor's degree and 1+ year supervision/management.
• Knowledge of ITGCs, governance, cybersecurity, cloud, ERP risk.
• COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk-based audits and IT risk expertise for technology controls.
• Supervise staff, coach, and maintain independence and objectivity.
• Advance audit methodologies with AI, data analytics, and automation.
• Coordinate open audit issues and corrective action plans with management.
• Respond to external auditors and provide governance expertise.
• Lead staff development, staffing, and performance evaluation.
• Support Model Audit Rule compliance efforts as directed.
• Conduct advisory work and lead special projects and investigations.
• Travel regularly to audit locations as required.
