Job summary

Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to perform technical audits of information systems, applications, and operations. You will guide internal control consulting, special projects, and investigations under supervision by the Manager or VP of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities include evaluating system integrity, supervising staff in limited roles, and delivering complex audit reports with management responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, systems and applications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Examines and evaluates the integrity of electronic information systems, hardware and software, and networks.
• Supervises staff in limited assignments.
• Prepares complex computer-generated reports and analyses.
• Examines and evaluates the effective use of enterprise resources.
• Reviews compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies.
• Develops and proposes recommendations for control and/or efficiency improvements.
• Reports on the results of audits, including recommendations and management responses thereto.
• Responds to inquiries from external auditors (e.g., CPA, regulatory, group).
