Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program for Salina, KS. The Information Technology Intern will join the IT department on-site and work on a project related to the help desk, mentored by experienced staff.

Interns work full-time May to August, earn $20/hour, and housing is provided for those living outside the Salina area. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, teamwork, and exposure to real-world engineering support.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant Engineering major.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS area for the Summer.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screening within a week of start.
• Proof of identity and work eligibility in the United States (I-9).

Responsibilities

• Work with Information Technology department on a project related to the department.
• Perform general helpdesk duties to support IT users.
• Collaborate with mentor and peers on internship projects.
