Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota Company, is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Salina, KS. The Supplier Quality Engineer Intern will join an on-site program, work on a Quality Engineering project related to manufacturing equipment, and be mentored by experienced engineers.

Interns work full-time from mid-May to early August at 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., four days a week, and earn $20 per hour. Housing is provided for those living outside the Salina area.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Ag Systems or other relevant Engineering major.
• Willingness to live within commuting distance of Salina, KS area for the duration of the Summer.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week) during the Summer.

Responsibilities

• Work on a project in Quality Engineering related to manufacturing agricultural or construction equipment.
• Interns perform hands-on duties alongside full-time engineers and learn the production processes.
