Job summary

Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking an IT Intern to support desktop and workstation provisioning, software installation, account management, AV support, and general troubleshooting. This role offers hands-on experience in IT operations and workplace technology within a globally connected tech ecosystem.

You will work with the IT team to maintain hardware/software systems, contribute to internal documentation, and participate in project-based IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (currently pursuing).
• Strong interest in IT support, systems administration, networking, AV, and workplace technology.
• Basic understanding of Mac and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support to users across the organization, including hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provision and configure Mac and Windows computers for new employees.
• Create, modify, and remove user accounts across IT platforms.
• Assist with AV support for meetings and corporate events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues; escalate when needed.
• Support OS updates, patches, and routine maintenance.
• Contribute to IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Assist with hardware upgrades and equipment setup.
• Assist with purchasing, tracking, and organizing IT equipment.
• Help with IT projects and infrastructure improvements as needed.
