Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is hiring for an on-site IT/Technical Support role at the Sierrita operation near Tucson, AZ. You will install and service PCs, phones, networking, and peripherals, while maintaining documentation and following safety policies.

The position requires 2+ years in hardware/software troubleshooting, plus certifications (A+, Network+). Shift flexibility and strong communication are needed for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience installing and maintaining PC hardware, software, printers, and telephones.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose computer and voice/network issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, deliver, and install PCs, phones, networking, and peripherals using defined procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on voice/data systems and document actions.
• Participate in Safety/Environmental programs and ensure MIS policy compliance.
