Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking an IT specialist to set up and install PCs, phones, networking gear, and peripherals, while configuring and maintaining networking and server infrastructure at our Arizona-based site.

You will support MIS initiatives and contribute to safety and environmental programs, with opportunities to work on project-related infrastructure. The role requires 4 years of hardware/software Troubleshooting experience with a relevant certification or 6 years of equivalent

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of hardware/software troubleshooting experience with a relevant technical certification.
• Six (6) years of hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, deliver and install personal computers, telephones, networking and peripherals.
• Configure, install, troubleshoot and monitor networking components (switches, hubs, wireless, MESH, RF).
• Assist in management of site servers and storage devices (virtual/physical).
• Assist in MIS and process infrastructure projects.
• Participate in Safety and Environmental programs and ensure MIS policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
