Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education (high school) or equivalent.
• Vocational education as electrician or telecommunications technician is preferred.
• Industry certification such as CompTIA Network+ is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test Cat3 or higher cabling and fiber components.
• Perform switch-port moves and VLAN assignments per standards.
• Assist with installation and patching of switches, routers, and wireless APs.
• Troubleshoot first-level connectivity issues and escalate as needed.
• Document infrastructure and cabling changes; maintain accurate records.
• Maintain telephony infrastructure and VoIP devices.
• Coordinate with vendors for installations and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
