Job summary

Adient is seeking an IT Intern to support Infrastructure Services across hosting, network, endpoint devices, ITSM and conference room technology. You will document processes, assist in data analysis, and coordinate projects during a 40-hour weekly summer program in Plymouth, MI.

The role emphasizes hands-on involvement with SCCM, endpoint management, and security hygiene, while developing documentation and reporting skills in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Available to work up to 40 hours per week
• Strong Microsoft skills: Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive; Power Automate is a plus

Responsibilities

• Document infrastructure services processes, knowledge articles, inventories, standards and support procedures across hosting, network, field services, ITSM, and conference room technology
• Assist with data gathering, analysis and reporting using Excel, SharePoint Lists, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive to improve service visibility
• Support infrastructure projects including server documentation, network inventories, site readiness, hardware refresh planning and process improvements
• Track endpoint device activities and lifecycle data, assist with device inventories and support coordination
• Provide SCCM related support: inventory validation, software deployment tracking, patching, reporting, and documentation
• Develop awareness of threat and vulnerability management and coordinate remediation activities
• Support ITSM processes by organizing incident, request, change, problem, knowledge and service catalog information
• Maintain conference room documentation, equipment inventories and troubleshooting guides
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to meet day-to-day operational needs
