Job summary

The Republic of Tea is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to keep our technology environment secure, reliable, and performing at its best. You will manage servers, storage, networks, and cloud services, troubleshoot issues, and help strengthen security and reliability across the IT stack.

This hands-on role requires problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It involves on-call responsibilities and occasional after-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Experience managing VMware environments including provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience maintaining security controls and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize server environments, including Windows Server, VMware, and SANs.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability, resolving issues proactively.
• Implement and manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and hardware refreshes in alignment with change management processes.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
• Provide second- and third-level technical support for escalated infrastructure issues.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Support integration of cloud-based solutions such as Office 365 and Azure with on-premise systems.
• Participate in IT security initiatives including vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
