Job summary

Willmeng Construction seeks an IT Support professional to provide Tier 1 help for a distributed workforce, handling Windows 11 issues, Office 365, and AV/event tech for remote venues. You will manage incidents in HappyFox, triage security concerns, and escalate where needed while maintaining SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years IT troubleshooting of software/hardware including Windows 11, AD, VMware, Outlook & Hosted Exchange, Office and ticketing systems.
• 1–2 years in the construction industry in a similar role.
• High school education required; IT degree preferred.
• A+ and Network+ preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, vendors and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for a distributed workforce on Windows laptops and Office 365.
• Log, categorize, prioritize, and manage incidents in HappyFox per SLAs.
• Troubleshoot endpoint, connectivity, printing, and Microsoft 365 issues with guided steps.
• Triage access, software, and security concerns; elevate with diagnostics to Tier 2/3.
• Assist with event technology setups and equipment deployment for remote venues.
• Identify potential security concerns and communicate safe handling steps.
• Perform basic network triage (Wi-Fi/Ethernet, VPN) and remote access checks.
• Train staff on processes and gather feedback for improvements.
