Job summary

Merjent, Inc. is seeking an IT Helpdesk Analyst to support 300+ employees from the Twin Cities area. You will handle Helpdesk tickets, review submissions, and assist with user accounts, data access, and device deployments.

You will work within a small, dynamic IT team, handling onboarding, laptop lifecycle management, and documentation. The role offers full-time hours, a competitive salary, and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work 8:00am-5:00pm in Minneapolis, MN office.
• Experience configuring Windows 10/11 and installing software.
• Strong written communication for technical docs.
• Experience with Spiceworks, Active Directory, and Entra Identity preferred.
• Familiarity with remote tools like TeamViewer, Teams, VPN.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT contact for Helpdesk tickets (25-30/day).
• Resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and mobile issues using available resources.
• Log activities and maintain open/close status in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT team and vendors (e.g., Dell, Apple) for complex issues.
• Prepare onboarding: user accounts, laptop configuration, and inventory.
• Manage laptop lifecycle: inventory, deployment, replacement, retirement.
• Create and update IT documentation and procedures.
• Maintain Merjent IT standards.
• Assist IT colleagues with projects and tasks.
• Participate in monthly maintenance weekends.
