Job summary

Bryan Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide computing support to physicians, staff, students, and partners. You will perform first level problem determination, incident logging, and escalation for IT products and services, including networks, desktops (PC/Mac), and peripherals.

You will assist with password resets, printer issues, EHR and RIS triage, cyber threat triage, and virus remediation as part of daily operations, while documenting cases in the ticketing

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
• Knowledge of computer security procedures.
• Ability to document and log issues accurately.

Responsibilities

• Resolve first-level IT issues for users.
• Provide front-line support via phone, email, chat or ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems per established workflows.
• Document interactions in the ticketing system.
• Monitor Data Center functions and backups.
• Assist with password resets and access issues.
• Support networks, desktops, and peripheral devices.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with users.
