Job summary

CannonDesign is seeking a part-time IT Helpdesk Support in Minneapolis to assist with Windows and Office issues, equipment setup, and coordination with the IT team. This temporary role requires in-office presence and 24–32 hours per week.

You will monitor the helpdesk, assist local and remote users, and participate in hardware/software testing and upgrades. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office required.
• Strong communication skills and innovative thinking.
• Ability to work with IT team to resolve software, hardware, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Helpdesk: receive tickets, address issues, manage expectations on response times.
• Provide end user support for Windows and Microsoft Office for local and remote users.
• Prepare, set up, and coordinate employee equipment.
• Identify areas needing upgrades and coordinate with System Administrators.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of hardware/software with IT staff.
• Adapt/modify existing hardware/software to meet needs.
• Maintain peripherals (printers).
• Travel may be required.
• May perform other duties as required.
